Rae Weiss

Rae Weiss  grew up in West LA telling stories, trying to make their family laugh, and escaping the horror of helicopter parents and teenaged ennui to the fantasy worlds of the ever-growing pile of books by their bed. Once they were allowed to start watching TV, they binged all of 30 Rock and thought “I want to do that.” Rae writes about dysfunctional and toxic but loving families who stick by each other, even when they’re at each other’s throats.

They got their B.F.A in Writing for Screen and Television from USC, and are a UCB-trained improviser and sketch comedian.
